Biman Bangladesh Airlines Starts Flights from Pakistan

Biman Bangladesh Airlines (BG), the national carrier of Bangladesh is starting its scheduled flights to and from Pakistan from 29 January, 2026. The airline will initially operate two weekly flights between Karachi (KHI) and Dhaka (DAC). Biman Bangladesh is resuming flights to Pakistan after almost 16 years.

Flight Schedule & Aircraft
The airline will operate two weekly non-stop flights between Bangladesh and Pakistan. The flights will operate with Boeing 737-800 aircrafts. The usual flight time between Karachi to Dhaka is 3 hours and 19 minutes.

Viking Travels Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd has been appointed as the official general sales agent (GSA) in Pakistan for Biman Bangladesh airlines (IATA code BG). Biman has a clear edge of direct flights to Bangladesh for point to point traffic. It will also challenge other far eastern airlines on routes to Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and China.
