Pakistani nationals can apply an e-visa online for Thailand. There is no need to submit physical documents for your tourist visa. Here is our detailed guide on how to obtain Thailand visa from Pakistan.

1. Required Documents for Visa

Following documents are required in properly scanned format. Avoid documents' pictures taken from smartphone cameras. Ensure all photos are clearly scanned in high definition.

  • Passport first page: Minimum 6 months validity from date of travel
  • A fresh passport size photograph: White background and dark clothes and taken within last six months
  • Your Pakistani national identity card (NIC): Both sides
  • Fresh bank statement: Last 3 months and signed stamped by bank. Required minimum balance is THB 20,000 but recommended is above USD 1500.
  • Bank account maintenance letter: Signed and stamped by bank (attach with statement)
  • Travel booking confirmation: A confirmed flight reservation
  • Proof of accommodation: A valid confirmed hotel reservation.

2. Thailand Visa Fee in Pakistan

Please note that online payment is not currently available for Pakistan and payment must be paid at Royal Thai Embassy. We recommend that instead of physically visiting the Embassy, contact one of approved Thailand visa-drop box company near you for proceeding payment.

3. How to Apply Thailand Visa

Official Thailand e-visa website: https://thaievisa.go.th

  • Login to official Thailand e-visa website and click Create Account using valid email address and personal detail. Once created, verify your email through the link received on your email and login to continue.
  • Click Apply for a new visa, then select Country and Current Location as Pakistan. For Apply At, select Royal Thai Embassy Islamabad or Royal Thai General Consulate Karachi as per payment location.

  • Select Travel Document as Ordinary Passport / Travel Document, Visa Type as Tourist Visa, Purpose of Visit as Tourism / Leisure activities and Number of Entries as Single.
  • On the next step, upload your passport and photo as per given guidelines. The system will automatically pickup traveler's information from the passport. Complete remaining detail with correct information.
  • Now system will ask you for your intended travel plan including flight details, hotel accommodation, address and contact information. Fill the fields according to your itinerary.

Thailand Visa Application Step 3

  • On the final step, you will be required to upload your proof of current residence (your NIC), your ticket booking, hotel booking and bank statement. Upload the documents, verify the detail and submit the application.
  • Once the application is complete, make a payment with reference to your visa application to finalize your visa application.

Important Information

Thailand e-visa system currently does not allow you to pay online at the time of completing your application. Travelers ultimately have to contact an agent for visa fee payment to the Embassy.

We recommend you to contact a reliable travel agent or one of the approved drop-box agent in Pakistan to assist you in your visa application at the time of starting your application.

Best Time to Visit Thailand

Thailand has a tropical climate system with mostly warm and humid climate. If you are traveling for tourism, following weather information will help you decide your journey.

November - February: This is overall best time to visit Thailand due to dry and coolest weather. This is recommended weather due to humid weather in tropical countries are not so pleasant for tourists.

December - January (Peak Season): This is the peak traveling period with best weather conditions. The hotels and accommodation prices may be slightly higher during this time.

March - May (Mid Season): Hot weather with lesser tourist than peak season, but good for people traveling on budget. 

June - October (Low Seasson): This is monsoon or rainy season with fewer tourists and you can get lowest prices on accommodations and flights.
